I enjoy my dogues first, and foremost, I occasionally show and exhibit my dogues, and if they dont enjoy it, then I dont pursue it, each dog has their own personalities. (My males seem to love the showring, more than the females. )
I breed occasionally, I have owned DDBs since 2001, to date, I have had three litters for the public, and one litter of two, that were kept within the family. I have had other dogs over the years, all have lived and died at my house. A Great dane for 9 yrs of age, a Chinese Sharpei of 14 years, and a Dobermann who lived 12.5 years. they are all now deceased, and my first DDB was bought in 2001 and passed away close to nine years old. So my interest has mostly been with large breeds of the working group.
I was a Member of DDBS from 2001-2006, served on the DDBS Logo Committee for one year, I was also a member of the North American Bordeaux Federation, a club of ddb enthusiasts, member in 2007-2011 In May 23, 2009 I became a member of a local AKC Kennel club. I have participated and entered dogs in Eukanuba, and I have also shown a dog I bred and handled in Westminster 2011, recieving an Award of Merit. I have occasional shown in Parent Nationals, also. I have had dogs in the top 25 in UKC and AKC stats.
My first DDB attended a 6 week class with Delta Society, and qualifiied as a registered working therapy dog, through the VIP Pet Partners program of the local Humane Society, she visited the local adult care center for 4 years, and then I retired her.
I reside in Southeast Arizona, on acreage, and commute to Tucson for my job as a Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse. So I work odd hours because there are numerous "on call" hours.
I am not a kennel, and I have other interests I pursue, besides my dogues.
This website is for the sharing of my dogs pictures, their accomplishments, and the love of the breed.
Dogues have AKC and UKC registration, three of them have exhibited in the country of MEXICO, and have FCM registries, I own one import from Slovek Republic which has FCI registration.
